The paper addresses the methodological challenges of delivering intensive English language training to military personnel with zero baseline proficiency (ab initio learners) under strict pre-deployment or operational time constraints. Traditional sequential curricula, which rely heavily on explicit grammatical explanations and gradual vocabulary accumulation, prove ineffective when rapid functional readiness is required. To overcome this limitation, the study proposes an accelerated linguodidactic framework targeting rapid transition from NATO STANAG 6001 Level 0 (No Proficiency) to Level 1 (Survival) and Level 1+ (Elementary). The methodology integrates Total Physical Response (TPR) for immediate comprehension of tactical commands, high-frequency lexical chunking for standardized operational scenarios (such as MEDEVAC requests, checkpoint procedures, and basic radiotelephony), and intensive drilling of mission-essential micro-dialogues. Furthermore, the research examines cognitive load management strategies and the use of AI-driven voice simulators to build phonetic decoding skills and overcome the psychological speaking barrier in adult military learners. Empirical observations confirm that prioritizing pragmatic survival algorithms over theoretical grammar significantly accelerates communicative autonomy and ensures baseline interoperability in multinational environments.
