dc.description.abstract | Among 92 children with hydatid cysts of different localization, who has been operated in Odessa between 1998–2002, there were 12 children (13%) with rare forms of ehinococcosis. A brain was affected in 2 children, greater omentum – 1 case, spleen – 1, subcutaneous fat – 2, direct abdominal muscle – 1, muscles of the forearm – 1, diaphragm – 1 case. 2 children had multiple echinococcosis of the liver (more than 24 cysts). 1 child had 13 hydatid cysts in the right lung. | en |
