dc.description.abstract | Biochemistry is a basic discipline in the training of medical universities’ medical staff. The purpose of the study of this subject is to form students’ knowledge about metabolism as the basis of vital activity of the organism. The leading role in the study of biochemistry belongs to the independent work of students in class and out of class time. In the aim of rising the competency-based approach in the teaching of biochemistry the priority for students of medical students is not the possession of a large amount of information, but the ability to use it logically. In order to organise students’ independent work under distance learning conditions, teachers of the department have developed educational and methodological materials, including methodological guidelines for students, presentations for better knowledge acquisition, tests and practical materials. | en |
