Статья посвящена обзору исследований влияния факторов окружающей среды на стоматологическую заболеваемость населения Украины. Начиная с 80-х гг. ХХ века отмечается повышенный интерес к данной теме, в частности после аварии на Чернобыльской АЭС. Еще одним аспектом современных исследований является изучение воздействия промышленных производств и условий их деятельности на здоровье работников, а также населения, проживающего в непосредственной близости от различных производственных предприятий. Актуальным на сегодняшний день является изучение состояния полости рта рабочих угледобывающей
промышленности, стоматологической заболеваемости работников аммиачного производства, заболеваемости моряков Укрречфлота кариесом и генерализованным пародонтитом, заболеваний слизистой оболочки полости рта у горнорабочих. На основании проведенных клинико-лабораторных исследований выявлена 100%-ная распространенность кариеса зубов и заболеваний пародонта у докеров Черноморского морского торгового порта, чей труд связан с перевалкой насыпных грузов, и прямая зависимость стоматологического статуса от
их возраста и стажа работы.
The article is devoted to the review of studies of the influence of environmental factors on the dental morbidity of the population of Ukraine. Since the 80-ies of the twentieth century, there
has been an increased interest in this topic, in particular, after the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident. Another aspect of modern research is the study of the impact of industrial production and the conditions of their activities on the health of workers, as well as the population living in close proximity to various manufacturing enterprises. Relevant for today are studies of the oral cavity of workers in the coal mining industry, dental morbidity of workers in ammonia production, morbidity of seamen with caries and generalized periodontitis, diseases of the oral mucosa of miners. On the basis of clinical and laboratory studies, a 100% prevalence of dental caries and periodontal diseases in dockers of the Chernomorsk Commercial Sea Port was identified, whose work is related to the handling of bulk cargo, and a direct dependence of the dental status on their age and work experience was shown.
