В статті проаналізовано статистичні дані щодо захворюваності та смертності від хвороб серцево-судинної системи в Україні, зокрема в Одеській області, та в світі; стан кардіологічної служби в Україні та зміни, що відбулись в неї в останні роки. Аналіз змін дозволив нам узагальнити пріоритетні напрями стратегії розвитку кардіологічної служби України, шляхи та методи їх реалізації: профілактична спрямованість, доступність, наступність та безоплатність, якість надання медичної допомоги, поєднання методологічних підходів науки та практики при наданні кардіологічної допомоги, підготовка медичних кадрів.
The article analyzes statistical data on morbidity and mortality from diseases of the cardiovascular system in Ukraine, in particular in Odessa region, and in the world; the state of the cardiologycal service in Ukraine and the changes that have taken place in it in recent years. Cardiac care is provided to all segments of the population (children, adults, pregnant) according to the patient-centric approach and covers all types of medical care guaranteed by the Law of Ukraine «On State Guarantees of Medical Care». We have described the types of cardiac care and revealed the current changes that have taken place in it, emphasizing the role of state (Ministry of Health of Ukraine, National Health Service of Ukraine) and nongovernmental (professional associations) organizations in their implementation. The changes were grouped according to their existing types in the field of health care: technical, changes in goods or services, changes in labor resources, administrative (structural, strategic) The cardiological service remains one of the main links in health care system, which requires qualitative changes and is a
leader in public health policy. It is provided with scientific and practical personnel potential, has material, medical-diagnostic
and organizational-methodical possibilities. Despite the extensive system of cardiologycal service provided to the population
in Ukraine, there are a number of urgent problems in this area that need immediate and high-quality solution, including at
the state level. The analysis of changes allowed us to summarize the priority areas of the cardiological service development
strategy of Ukraine, ways and methods of their implementation: preventive focus, availability, continuity and free of charge,
quality of medical care, combination of methodological approaches of science and practice in cardiac care, medical training.
In Ukraine there is no comprehensive National Strategy for cardiologycal service development. Our study emphasizes the
need for its creation given the significant importance of cardiac pathology in the structure of morbidity and mortality from
non-communicable diseases.
