Regulation of the expression of many cytokines is associated with methylation or demethylation of promoters of these genes. The situation is usually complicated by the presence of various pathologies in the organism. Purpose of the study. Estimation of the level of methylated DNA of cytokines IFN-γ and IL-6 in parodontal tissues of patients with chronic generalized parodontitis and metabolic syndrome before and after complex of prophylactic therapy. Materials and methods. Gum tissues are taken from patients in the initial state and after the first course of prevention. A Qiagen kit, an Emplen spectrophotometer, a PyroMark Q24 pyro-sequencer and PyroMark CpG program were used to determine the content of methylated DNA when allocating DNA. Results. Conclusions. It is shown that due to epigenetic mechanisms it is possible to increase the content of methylated DNA in the gum tissues of patients with chronic generalized parodontitis on the background of the metabolic syndrome and optimize the expression of the pro-inflammatory effect of the cytokines of the IFN-γ and IL-6 genes using a pathogenetically grounded therapeutic and prophylactic complex.
Показано, что за счёт эпигенетических механизмов можно увеличить содержание метилированной ДНК в тканях десны пациентов с хроническим генерализованным пародонтитом на фоне метаболического синдрома и оптимизировать экспрессию провоспалительного действия цитокинов генов IFNγ и IL-6 при использовании патогенетически обоснованного лечебно-профилактического комплекса. Полученные результаты согласуются с результатами клинических наблюдений, биохимических и биофизических исследований ротовой жидкости, тканей пародонта, жирового и водного обмена в организме этих пациентов.
