Interaction of 4-nitrophenyl diethylphosphoric acid ester with HO- and НОО- anions in the "oil-in-water" microemulsion (ME) at varied microemulsion components was studied. Decomposition of paraoxon was found to proceed predominantly at the surface layer of oil microdroplets. Formally, the reaction mechanism is similar to the sequence of the stages in the phase-transfer catalysis: transfer of the reactants to the surface of microdroplets, substrate solubilization, and chemical reaction in the interfacial layer (ω-phase, identical to Stern layer).
Decomposition of 4-nitrophenyl diethylphosphoric acid (paraoxon) was studied with the pseudo-phase distribution and phase-transfer catalysis models.
An advantage of phase-transfer catalysis model over pseudo-phase distribution model, conventionally used for consideration of nucleophilic substitution in ME, is that it involves distribution coefficients of the substrate and nucleophile between water and microemulsion droplets. Unlike the binding constants the distribution coefficients are constants, independent of the molar volume of pseudophase.
Second-order rate constants of paraoxon decomposition by HO- and НОО- anions are less than those in pure water. Such a decrease in the reactivity of the anions in microemulsions can be explained by unfavorable surrounding positively charged tetraalkyl ammonium head groups of the detergent and lesser polarity of microemulsion as against that in water.
Вивчено взаємодію 4-нітрофенілового ефіру діетилфосфорної кислоти (параоксон) з НО- і НОО- аніонами в мікроемульсії (МЕ) типу «масло у воді» при варіюванні компонентів мікроемульсії. Встановлено, що реакція розкладання параоксону протікає переважно в поверхневому шарі мікрокраплі масла, і формально механізм взаємодії має схожість з послідовністю стадій міжфазного каталізу. Проведено математичне моделювання кінетики досліджуваних процесів у рамках псевдофазної розподільної моделі та моделі межфазного каталізу. Визначено реакційну здатність НО- і НОО--аніонів на поверхні мікрокраплі катіонної мікроемульсії.
Изучено взаимодействие 4-нитрофенилового эфира диэтилфосфорной кислоты (параоксона) с НО- и НОО--анионами в микроэмульсии (МЭ) типа «масло в воде» при варьировании компонентов микроэмульсии. Установлено, что реакция разложения параоксона протекает преимущественно в поверхностном слое микрокапли масла и формально механизм взаимодействия имеет сходство с последовательностью стадий межфазного катализа. Проведено математическое моделирование кинетики изучаемых процессов в рамках псевдофазной распределительной модели и модели межфазного катализа. Определена реакционная способность НО- и НОО--анионов на поверхности микрокапли катионной микроэмульсии.
