dc.description.abstract	Extensive clinical, laboratory and epidemiological studies conducted in recent years all over the world, have significantly deepened knowledge about the nature and properties of the pathogen rotavirus (RVI), features reproductions of clinical manifestations of infection, its main epidemiological characteristics. The article describes the molecular epidemiology of RVI, analyzed modern methods of RNA detection rotavirus genotypes circulating presented especially in Russia and Ukraine.	uk_UA
