Currently, more than a dozen genes are known, mutations in which lead to the development of different forms of epilepsy, however, much is still unclear in this area, as in epileptogenesis in general. The aim of this research was an assessment of the status of genetic markers associated with the development of tooth enamel and determining lipid metabolism and inflammation in children with epilepsy on the background of morphological and functional organ disorders of the oral cavity - caries, noncarious tooth lesions and inflammatory processes in periodontal tissues. The gene markers AMELX, TNF, IL-4, SOD1, CAT in children with epilepsy patients on the background of morphological and functional disorders of the oral organs on buccal epithelial cells were studied in this research. Research have shown that in children with epilepsy in the case of functional disorders of the oral cavity from the selected 6 genetic markers associated with the development of tooth enamel, lipid metabolism and inflammation in the body, the greatest polymorphism was observed in the AMELX (rs946252) and CAT genes that we propose to use to develop a scheme of treatment and preventive measures as the most representative.
В текущий момент известно более десятка генов, мутации в которых приводят к развитию разных форм эпилепсии, однако в этой области все еще остается много неясного, как и в эпилептогенезе в целом. Целью данного исследования была оценка состояния генетических маркеров, связанных с развитием зубной эмали и определяющих липидный обмен и воспаление у детей больных эпилепсией на фоне морфологических и функциональных нарушений органов ротовой полости – кариеса, некариозных поражений зубов и воспалительных процессов в тканях пародонта. В исследовании изучались маркеры генов AMELX, TNF, IL-4, SOD1, CAT у детей больных эпилепсией на фоне морфологических и функциональных нарушений органов ротовой полости на клетках буккального эпителия. Проведенные исследования показали, что у детей с эпилепсией в случае функциональных нарушений ротовой полости из выбранных 6 генетических маркеров, связанных с развитием зубной эмали, липидным обменом и воспалением в организме, наибольший полиморфизм наблюдался в генах AMELX (rs946252) и CAT, которые мы предлагаем использовать для разработки схемы лечебнопрофилактических мероприятий как наиболее репрезентативные.
