In designed conditional-causal model determination of injury monitoring tested using the theory of conditioning. Conceptual-categorical apparatus proposed by philosophy and logic for research determinations in the traumatic process is complex and requires special development. Unsystematic use of concepts of logic and philosophy led to varying interpretations of expert opinions, as regards the interpretation of defnitions, and in fact causal interpretation of forensic medical records. Conclusions of a forensic expert of the format of the connection between deterministic investigated events preceded the appearance of an expert mind an image approximating analog of the natural determination, that is the model on which the expert tries to explain the processes taking place in reality. Unlike the hypotheses, different models of the same forensic determination not compete, do not cancel each other, and are mutually complementary, as different interpretations of “slices” of real phenomena of reality. The aim of the study was to determine the methodological bases for species identifcation determinations in the traumatic process by using scientifc concepts of the theory of conditionality. Observations of causal relationships, modulated according to the forensic scientifc and practical literature, systematized using concepts of necessity and suffciency of the theory of conditionality with regard to the specifcs of forensic tasks. Information (mental) models of deterministic connections constructed retrospectively on the basis of a given expert determinations of the fnal link of the chain – injury.
