Correlation between cytomorphological and pathohistological examination in dysplasia of uterine cervix

Abstract

Introduction. The common problem in diagnostics of uterine cervical cancer is the difference in interpretation of the specimen using cytological and histological methods. The goal of this work was to perform the comparison of cytomorphological and pathohistological methods of diagnostics of precancer and cancer pathology of uterine cervix, estimation of informative capabilities of various types of staining of cytomorphological specimens.

O problemă comună în diagnosticarea stărilor precanceroase şi a cancerului de col uterin prin examene citologice şi histologice este interpretarea, în mare parte subiectivă, rezultatelor. Scopul lucrării a fost de a compara între ele metodele citomorfologică şi patohistologică de diagnostic al leziunilor-precursor şi a cancerului de col uterin, de a estima capacitatea descriptivă a diferitor tehnici de colorare a probelor citomorfologice.
