Застосування фізичного навантаження для лікування цукрового діабету 2 типу на засадах доказової медицини

Abstract

Кількість хворих на цукровий діабет (ЦД) 2 типу в сучасних цивілізованих країнах стрімко зростає. Тимчасом як поширеність ЦД серед населення у 50-ті роки минулого століття становила менше 0,5 %, сьогодні вона досягає 5 % і більше. Цукровий діабет 2 типу належить до хвороб благополучних і ситих країн, яким притаманні гіперкалорійне харчування і значна гіподинамія, що призводять до ожиріння.

A number of randomized controlled researches underline a positive role of physical activity in order to modify the life style in treatment of type II diabetes mellitus. The American Diabetic Association recommends to use the long-term loadings as follows: a minimal need in the loading is 150 min/week — three days of exercises a week, two days are free. Popularization of increasing in physical activity in order to modify the life style should be carried out constantly and intensification of physical activity along with hypocaloric diet is an integral part of treatment of type II DM.
