For centuries, plants have been used to treat diseases and correct
pathological conditions. This experience of using whole plants and their parts
remains relevant today, and is studied and applied in the fields of pharmacognosy and
pharmaceutics.
Objective of the study. Assessment of achievements and prospects in
pharmacological research on biologically active substances from plant raw materials.
Materials and methods. A comparative analysis of the results of
pharmacological studies on biologically active components of plant raw materials.
