dc.description.abstract Successful management of atopic dermatitis (AD) requires identifying and avoiding trigger factors. Dermatitis after ingestion of an allergen which causes contact hypersensitivity is known as systemic contact dermatitis (SCD), and this is implicated as a trigger for AD. One of the most common allergens known to cause SCD is nickel. Some nickel-allergic patients may react to levels typically present in a normal diet(e.g., black tea). n/a n/a Case Report An 8-year-old boy with atopic dermatitis presented with erythematous lesions on the flexural surfaces of his limbs and the groin. en
