Gamification of simulation training: experience of implementing the board game «The road to salvation» in the educational process

Abstract

Modern medical education requires the implementation of interactive methods that effectively combine theoretical knowledge with practical algorithms. Gamification serves as a powerful tool to increase student engagement and improve cognitive learning outcomes within the constraints of a limited training cycle. Objective. To evaluate the effectiveness of the original board game «The Road to Salvation,» developed by the student research group of the Department of Simulation Medical Technologies at ONMedU, by comparing the results of students using the game format with a group following a traditional educational approach during a 7-day cycle.
