This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the current
challenges and significant prospects of using distance technologies in teaching the
educational component "Psychology" at higher education institutions. In the context of
contemporary challenges, driven by global crises and the dynamic development of
information technologies, the effectiveness of distance learning gains particular
relevance. The authors identify and thoroughly analyze the specific challenges related
to the development of emotional intelligence, non-verbal communication skills, and
the effective conduct of practical sessions in an online format. These competencies are
critically important for future professionals in fields where interpersonal skills play a
