Особливості розповсюдженості інфекційних захворювань на пасажирських суднах на сучасному етапі

Abstract

Спалах хантавірусної інфекції на борту судна MVHondusу квітні 2026 року знову поставив проблему розповсюдження інфекційних захворювань під час морських перевезень вантажів і пасажирів. У досліджені автори аналізують передумови таких подій і оцінюють можливі наслідки при їх повторені. Головними передумовами визначають дефіцит робочої сили на флоті з залученням трудових мігрантів, які високо мотивовані але не схильні до розповсюдження інформації щодо стану здоров’я; ліберальне законодавство щодо спортивного і рекреаційного судноплавства у країнах ЄС; перерозподіл морського туризму на користь сезонних чартерів. Розвиток спалахухантавірусної інфекції оцінюється як найсприятливийшийз можливих з епідеміологічної позиції і визначаються передумови такої оцінки – особливості збудника, розміри судна, час у подорожі, не перевантаженість медичної служби.

The outbreak of hantavirus infection on board the MV Hondus in April 2026 again raised the problem of the spread of infectious diseases during maritime transportation of cargo and passengers.In the study, the authors analyze the prerequisites of such events and assess the possible consequences if they are repeated. The main prerequisites are the shortage of labor in the fleet with the involvement of migrant workers, who are highly motivated but not inclined to disseminate information about their health status;liberal legislation on sports and recreational shipping in EU countries; redistribution of maritime tourism in favor of seasonal charters. The development of the hantavirus infection outbreak is assessed as the most favorable of all possible from an epidemiological point of view and the prerequisites for such an assessment are determined - the characteristics of the pathogen, the size of the vessel, the time of travel, and the lack of overloading of the medical service.
