У статті розглянуто актуальне питання впливу штучного
інтелекту (далі – ШІ) на розвиток мовної культури та перекладознавство в
Україні в умовах цифровізації. Метою дослідження є виявлення
можливостей та викликів, що виникають при застосуванні інноваційних
технологій у сфері перекладу та збереження мовної культури. Особливу
увагу приділено аналізу трансформації перекладацької діяльності за
допомогою ШІ, зокрема автоматизації процесів перекладу, редагування,
стилістичної адаптації та термінологічної відповідності. Зазначено, що
застосування ШІ дає змогу зменшити кількість помилок, прискорити
обробку текстів, підвищити точність перекладів та збільшити продуктивність перекладачів.
Водночас у статті наголошено на необхідності збереження мовної
індивідуальності, стилістичної виразності й культурної автентичності при
застосуванні машинного перекладу. Порушено також питання етики,
авторського права, відповідальності та необхідності поєднання технологічних рішень із фаховою підготовкою перекладачів. ШІ дедалі частіше стає
не лише інструментом, але й об’єктом наукового осмислення в перекладознавстві. Це передбачає формування нових підходів до підготовки перекладачів, адаптації програм перекладацької освіти, розробки методичних
рекомендацій щодо застосування цифрових технологій у мовній практиці. У дослідженні проаналізовано ризики надмірної стандартизації мови
та втрати гнучкості мовного середовища під впливом алгоритмічних
моделей. Підкреслено важливість інтеграції ШІ в перекладознавчу сферу з
урахуванням національного контексту та культурно-мовних особливостей.
ШІ змінює уявлення про роль перекладача, який все частіше є не лише
мовним посередником, а й редактором, аналітиком та культурним
фасилітатором. У цьому контексті важливою є й роль державної мовної
політики, яка має забезпечити збереження й розвиток української мови як
національного культурного коду в умовах глобального технологічного
середовища.
The article explores the pressing issue of the impact of artificial
intelligence on the development of language culture and translation studies in
Ukraine in the context of digitalization. The aim of the study is to identify the
opportunities and challenges arising from the use of innovative technologies in
the fields of translation and the preservation of linguistic culture. Particular
attention is paid to the analysis of how artificial intelligence transforms
translation practices, specifically by automating processes such as translation,
editing, stylistic adaptation, and terminological consistency. The use of AI allows
for the reduction of human errors, acceleration of text processing, improvement
of translation accuracy, and increased productivity of translators. At the same time, the article emphasizes the need to preserve linguistic
individuality, stylistic expressiveness, and cultural authenticity in the application
of machine translation. It also addresses ethical issues, copyright considerations,
accountability, and the necessity of combining technological tools with
professional translator training. Artificial intelligence is increasingly becoming
not only a tool but also an object of scholarly reflection within the field of
translation studies. This necessitates the development of new approaches to
translator education, the adaptation of translation curricula, and the formulation
of methodological recommendations for the use of digital technologies in
linguistic practice.
The study also analyzes the risks of excessive language standardization and
the loss of linguistic flexibility under the influence of algorithmic models. The
authors highlight the importance of integrating AI into the field of translation
studies with respect to national context and cultural-linguistic specifics. Artificial
intelligence is reshaping the concept of the translator’s role, who is now more
often seen not only as a linguistic mediator but also as an editor, analyst, and
cultural facilitator. In this context, state language policy plays a critical role in
ensuring the preservation and development of the Ukrainian language as a
national cultural code in a global technological environment.
