In relation to the issues facing our country in the context of
war state and social crisis, which create an increased demand for the training of qualified
practitioners in mental health, the article discusses the differences in standards and requirements
for training various types of specialists, the existing legal framework for further postgraduate
education, specialization, and opportunities for professional employment. The key components of
the Concept for the Development of Mental Health Care in Ukraine until 2030 (Cabinet of
Ministers Order No. 1018-r dated December 27, 2017) and Law No. 12030 'On the Mental Health
Care System in Ukraine', adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on January 15, 2025, the
regulatory acts that bring our country closer to European standards and ensure the establishment of
a unified legislative framework for the field of mental health are presented. The standards for such
mental health specialists as psychologists, clinical psychologists, medical psychologists (psychology doctor), psychiatrist and psychotherapeutics are discussed. It was presented
information regarding the possibility for psychologists without medical education to specialize in
'Clinical Psychology' and 'Psychotherapy', with the requirement to confirm their qualification level
every five years, same as medical doctor.
В розрізі тих питань, що постають перед нашою країною в умовах
воєнного стану та соціальної кризи, які створюють підвищену потребу у підготовці
кваліфікованих фахівців-практиків з ментального здоров’я, в статті розглянуті питання
відмінності стандартів та вимог для навчання різних типів спеціалістів, існуюча нормативна
правова база для подальшого післядипломного навчання, спеціалізації та можливості
професійного працевлаштування. Наведені ключові складові Концепції розвитку охорони
психічного здоров’я в Україні на період до 2030 року (розпорядження КМУ № 1018-р від 27
грудня 2017 р.) та Закону №12030 «Про систему охорони психічного здоров’я в Україні»,
який Верховна Рада України ухвалила 15 січня 2025 року, нормативних актів, які
наближають нашу державу до європейських стандартів і забезпечують створення єдиної
законодавчої бази для сфери ментального здоров’я. Розглянуті стандарти таких спеціалістів
з охорони психічного здоров’я, як психологи, клінічні психологи, медичні психологи
(лікарі-психологи), психіатри та психотерапевти. Представлена інформація щодо
можливості проходження психологами із немедичною освітою спеціалізації із «Клінічної
психології» та «Психотерапії» з потребою підтвердження рівня кваліфікації кожні п’ять
років, як і у лікарів.
