Історично століттями Україна була втягнута у орбіту
взаємодії тоді ще Османської імперії, пізніше кемалістської
Туреччини. Стосунки між обома країнами складалися за
принципом пульсації серця, тобто від вкрай ворожого ставлення
османів до українського народу, козаків до укладання з тими ж
таки козаками військово-політичних угод протягом всього ХVІІ
століття. І вже 20 – ті роки ХХ століття були певною мірою
ренесансом у відновленні стосунків між Україною у вигляді УСРР
та Турецькою республікою. Схожість політичної ситуації, в якій
опинилися обидві країни, їхній партнерський союз мав своє
органічне походження, про що доводив у своїй Чорноморській
доктрині Юрій Липа, розглядавши його як майбутній проєкт.
Сьогодні цей проєкт успішно функціює і, сподіваємося, матиме
економічної та соціальної користі у мирний час.
Historically, for centuries, Ukraine was drawn into the orbit of
interaction of the then Ottoman Empire, later Kemalist Turkey.
Relations between the two countries developed according to the
principle of heartbeat, that is, from the extremely hostile attitude of
the Ottomans towards the Ukrainian people, the Cossacks to the
conclusion of military-political agreements with the same Cossacks
throughout the entire 17th century. And already the 20s of the 20th
century were to some extent a renaissance in the restoration of
relations between Ukraine in the form of the Ukrainian SSR and the
Turkish Republic. The similarity of the political situation in which both
countries found themselves, their partnership union had its organic
origin, as Yuriy Lypa argued in his Black Sea Doctrine, considering it
as a future project. Today, this project is successfully functioning and,
we hope, will bring many economic and social benefits in peacetime.
