Abstract:
Two main postulates determined the relevance and primary goal of our work:
the first is the high prevalence of arterial hypertension (AH), whether secondary
(with a defined cause) or primary (with an undefined cause), which is a leading
cardiovascular pathology (approximately 35% of the adult population in developed
countries have high blood pressure (BP)). AH is often combined with other cardio vascular diseases and related metabolic disorders (such as atherosclerosis, gout,
hyperglycemia, etc.). The second postulate is the need for long-term (often lifelong)
combined use of antihypertensive drugs, considering the comorbidity of increased
blood pressure with other conditions.
