dc.description.abstract According to WHO report 53,5% of adults in Ukraine are overweight and 21,3% are obese. In addition, MOH of Ukraine reports STIs (Sexually transmitted infections) as a national problem of Ukrainian healthcare. The aim of this study was to assess the impact of the overweight and obesity, along with STIs on the risk of miscarriages in women of the South of Ukraine. This was a cross-sectional prevalence study conducted in Odessa region (N=134). The data regarding obstetrics and gynecology anamnesis (miscarriages. medical abortions, complications of previous and current pregnancy) was collected. en
