Цукровий діабет 2-го типу: епідеміологія, ускладнення та рання діагностика

Abstract

У статті проаналізовано сучасні дані щодо захворюваності на цукровий діабет 2-го типу (ЦД 2 типу). Цукровий діабет залишається одним із найпоширеніших захворювань у світі та значно погіршує якість життя, супроводжується розвитком ускладнень, ранньою інвалідизацією і передчасною летальністю. Наведено статистичні дані за останні роки стосовно поширеності хвороби у світі. Показано зв’язок між наявністю цукрового діабету та розвитком тяжких ускладнень. Так, діабет призводить до розвитку серцево-судинних, цереброваскулярних ускладнень, є причиною термінальної ниркової недостатності, сліпоти, анемії, підвищує ризик ампутації нижніх кінцівок і багатьох інших уражень. Застосування скринінг-тестів дозволяє своєчасно виявити людей, які належать до груп високого ризику розвитку ЦД 2 типу, та рано діагностувати безсимптомний діабет, що попереджає виникнення тяжких ускладнень і поліпшує прогноз та якість життя пацієнтів.

The aim of the study. To study the prevalence of type 2 diabetes, the influence of glycemia on the development of complications, and to determine the possibilities of early diagnosis of the disease. Materials and methods. Contemporary domestic and foreign research have been studied and analyzed using available literary sources and electronic resources. Research results. The article analyzes contemporary data on the incidence of type 2 diabetes mellitus. Diabetes remains one of the most prevalent diseases worldwide and significantly impairs the quality of life. It is associated with the development of complications, early disability, and premature mortality. Statistical data on the prevalence of the disease in recent years worldwide is provided. The link between the presence of diabetes and the development of severe complications is demonstrated. Diabetes contributes to the development of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular complications, is a cause of terminal renal failure, blindness, anemia, and increases the risk of lower limb amputation and many other lesions. The use of screening tests allows for the timely identification of individuals belonging to high-risk groups for the development of type 2 diabetes and for the early diagnosis of asymptomatic diabetes, which prevents the occurrence of severe complications and improves the prognosis and quality of life of patients.
