The issue of the relationship between thyroid diseases and the state of the bone system is
becoming increasingly relevant in modern medicine. Since the hormones of this gland are necessary for the
maturation and formation of bone tissue and the skeleton, a violation of the thyroid gland is clinically
manifested not only in the form of classic symptoms of hypo - or hyperthyroidism, but also in the form of
disorders of the bone system. The importance of vitamin D levels for the normal functioning of the
musculoskeletal, immune, nervous and cardiovascular systems has been proven.
The aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of hypothyroidism on the bone tissue of patients with
vitamin D deficiency.
According to the results of the study, it was found that patients with hyperthyroidism have a decrease
in bone mineral density, confirmed by an increase in the level of CTx as a result of the degradation of type I
collagen against the background of a low level of 25(OH)D, which in turn increases the risk of fractures.
Все большей актуальности в современной медицине приобретает вопрос взаимосвязи заболеваний щитовидной железы и состояния костной системы. Поскольку гормоны данной
железы необходимы для созревания и формирования костной ткани и скелета, нарушение работы
щитовидной железы клинически проявляются не только в виде классических симптомов гипо- или
гипертиреоза, но и в форме нарушений со стороны костной системы. Доказана важность уровня витамина D, для нормального функционирования опорно-двигательной, иммунной, нервной и сердечно-сосудистой систем.
Целью исследования было оценить влияние гипотиреоза на костную ткань пациентов с дефицитом витамина D. По результатам исследования было установлено, что у пациентов с гипертиреозом
отмечается снижение минеральной плотности костной ткани, подтверждающееся увеличением уровня СТх в результате деградации коллагена I типа на фоне низкого уровня 25(OH)D, что в свою очередь увеличивает риск возникновения переломов.
