To identify and determine the state of the liver according to the activity of hepatic enzymes and ultrasound diagnostic data in patients with gastric and duodenal ulcers in chronic helicobacteriosis. Materials and methods. 54 gastroenterological patients (21 men and 34 women) with gastric and duodenal ulcer caused by chronic Helicobacter pylori infection and a control group of patients (n = 20) have been examined. Control group patients additionally underwent biochemical blood tests. Results. During a comprehensive examination of the main group patients concomitant pathology was detected: chronic pancreatitis, chronic acalculous cholecystitis, post-cholecystectomy syndrome, arterial hypertension, ischemic heart disease, chronic kidney disease was diagnosed in patients. The average degree of contamination of the gastric mucosa with inactive forms of Helicobacter pylori infection by topographic zones was analyzed. In the majority of gastric and duodenal ulcer patients in chronic Helicobacter pylori infection, concomitant changes in the gallbladder, pancreas, and liver were observed. Conclusions. The results of our own studies indicate a high frequency of pathological changes in the ultrasound picture of the liver parenchyma, the structure of the gallbladder and pancreas in patients with gastric and duodenal ulcer disease in chronic Helicobacter pylori infection. The results of clinical and laboratory studies showed that in the main group patients signs of cytolysis are determined in the form of a significant increase in transaminases, namely alanine transaminase and aspartate transaminase, indirect bilirubin, thymol test. The signs of cholestasis – an increase in gamma-glutamyltransferase and bilirubin, both direct and indirect, were present as well.; Метою дослідження стало виявлення та визначення стану печінки за показниками активності печінкових ферментів та даних ультразвукової діагностики у хворих на виразкову хворобу шлунка та дванадцятипалої кишки при хронічному гелікобактеріозі. Результати власних дослідження свідчать про високу частоту патологічних змін ультразвукової картини паренхіми печінки, структури жовчного міхура та підшлункової залози, а також визначаються признаки цитолізу в вигляді підвищення показників трансаміназ, а саме аланінтрансамінази та аспартаттрансамінази, непрямого білірубіну, тимолової проби, та признаки холестазу – підвищення показників гамма-глутамілтрансферази та білірубіну як прямого так і непрямого у хворих на виразкову хворобу шлунка та виразкову хворобу дванадцятипалої кишки при хронічному гелікобактеріозі. Aim: To determine the intensity of posttraumatic oxidative stress (OS) in patients with mild explosive traumatic brain injury (METBI) complicated by acoustic barotrauma and its association with sensorineural hearing loss (SHL) occurrence. Materials and Methods: This study included 43 patients with METBI form October 2023 to May 2024. Results: METBI initiated an increase in OS markers in blood: aldehyde phenylhydrazone (APH) by 53.54% (p<0.05), carboxy phenylhydrazone (CPH) - by 50.51% (p<0.05) and with a deficiency of the antioxidant system of reduced glutathione by 47.4% (p<0.05), total thiols by 61.7% (p<0.05), decrease in the level of nitric oxide in blood by 54.22% (p<0.05), which led to microcirculatory disorder. A direct correlation was established between the frequency of SHL and an increase of APH (r=+0.72, p<0.05), CPH (r=+0.66, p<0.05) and an inverse correlation with a reduced glutathione deficiency (r=-0.85, p<0.05). Conclusions: An imbalance of antioxidant protection led to significant microcirculatory disorders. The data obtained are important for the neutralization of the effect of damaging factors of OS on thе inner ear microcirculation. Methods: The method was technically explored across five imaging modalities (angiography, MRI, ICE, TEE, TTE) using standard diagnostic hardware. Preliminary testing used ECG-gated ICE DICOM images from sixteen patients undergoing first-time AF ablation. Results: The program produced dynamic full-chamber flow visualizations and automatically computed two image-derived surrogate markers of flow-pattern behavior, the *turbulence index (TI)* and *blood mobility fraction (BMF)*, across cardiac cycles. Distinct preliminary flow patterns were observed between sinus rhythm and atrial fibrillation. Outputs are exportable for AI analysis. Conclusions: This proof-of-concept approach demonstrates feasibility for routine intracardiac flow assessments, and introduces TI and BMF as potential flow-based biomarkers for future prognostic use after additional validation. Клінічні дані підтверджують ефективність пролотерапії у зниженні болю та покращенні рухливості, забезпечуючи кращі результати порівняно з традиційними методами лікування. Автори висловлюють альтернативну важливість пролотерапії для хворих на гонартроз, які шукають неінвазивні варіанти лікування захворювання.; The purpose of the study was to provide a comprehensive overview of the pathophysiological mechanisms underlying degenerative-dystrophic joint damage and to identify therapeutic approaches to improve joint function and intra-articular cartilage nutrition. This review examines the current etiological factors and pathophysiological mechanisms of degenerative-dystrophic and inflammatory lesions of the large joints of the lower limbs, with a view to explaining the rationale for the use of prolotherapy with hypertonic glucose and/or dextrose solutions. A systematic analysis of studies from 2020 to 2025, drawn from the medical databases PubMed, Google Scholar, Web of Science, and SCOPUS, demonstrates the complexity and cascade of osteoarthrosis pathophysiological mechanisms, which significantly complicate the clinical manifestations of the disease and render drug therapy ineffective. The authors focus on prolotherapy, a regenerative medicine technique that uses hypertonic glucose and/or dextrose solutions, injected into damaged areas of the knee joint, to relieve chronic pain and stimulate the natural regeneration of intraarticular tissues. Clinical data confirms prolotherapy's efficacy in reducing pain and improving joint mobility, often achieving better results than traditional treatments. In their conclusion, the authors emphasize the alternative importance of prolotherapy for patients with gonarthrosis who are looking for non-invasive treatment options.
