The article describes the definitions of the concepts of “competence”, “professional competence”, “family doctor”,
“professional competence of family doctors”.
The purpose of the article to consider the essence of the concept of “professional competence”. It is indicated that
competence is “a pre-set social norm (requirement) for the student’s educational preparation, which is necessary for a
qualitative productive activity in a certain sphere, that is, socially fixed result”. The consequence of gaining competence
is competence, which provides for an appropriate personal characteristic of the individual, an adequate attitude to the
subject of activity, etc. In our opinion, a structural components must be a professionally competent future doctor: cognitive – possession of the amount of training information and professional knowledge, ways of mastering them; operational – the ability to realize knowledge in practice through the existing system, skills and abilities, fundamental-applied
actions and operations; axiological – integration of the system of personally important qualities and professionally
important properties into the professional activities of the doctor.
According to scientists, the pedagogical conditions for the formation of professional competence of future family doctors can be grouped into the following groups: organizational and procedural: curriculum of preparation, schedules of
the educational process, material and technical support, determination of criteria of the level of professional competence;
selection of content of training sessions, integration of various topics, development of web-based interactive teaching
and methodological support of disciplines; forms, methods and means of student training and assessment of success;
psychological and pedagogical: implementation of diagnostics of personal development of students, determination of criteria, levels of competence formation of future family doctors; motivational-self-regulation: the establishment of optimal
conditions for the formation of motivation among students
It is noted that the professional competence of a future family doctor is the formation of a person on the basis of personal and professionally important competencies, which is based on a set of acquired professional knowledge, skills and
abilities, speech culture, prognostic, analytical, designing, self-regulatory abilities necessary for the professional activity
of a family doctor.
У статті проаналізовано дефініції понять «компетентність», «компетенція», «професійна компетентність
сімейних лікарів». Охарактеризовано компетенції, які властиві професійно компетентному сімейному лікареві.
Зазначено, що професійна компетентність майбутнього сімейного лікаря – це сформованість особистості на
основі персональних і професійно важливих компетенцій, яка ґрунтується на комплексі набутих професійних
знань, умінь і навичок, культури мовлення, прогностичних, аналітичних, проектувальних, саморегуляційних здібностей, необхідних для професійної діяльності сімейного лікаря.
