Managerial & healthcare practices: similarities and differences

Abstract

The science of management, as well as medical science, originated several thousand years ago, along with the first ancient civilizations. It is noteworthy that in those communities ruled by the priestly elite, these types of activities – managerial and medical – were often performed by the same person or group of people. However, at the present stage there is а strong opinion that these roles are largely different and practically do not have any similarities.
