dc.description.abstract Relevance: The problem of diagnosing and treating ear noise is due to the widespread prevalence of this symptom, the variability of clinical indicators, the difficulty of recording noise, as well as the insufficient effectiveness of therapeutic measures. When analyzing complaints from patients with acoustic trauma, according to various authors and our observations, in addition to decreased auditory function, the leading complaint is subjective ear noise. Therefore, determining the characteristics of subjective ear noise in patients with sensorineural hearing impairment who received acoustic trauma in a combat zone is an urgent task in otolaryngology. Purpose: Our earlier analysis of the research re- sults allowed us to establish that subjective ear noise was observed in 81.9% (383) of the 480 patients we examined with acoustic trauma who were in the com- bat zone. In military personnel with acoustic trauma received in real combat, the leading complaint is subjective tinnitus, which bothers 81.9% of victims. Among all the cases of neurosensory impairment of auditory functions that we studied, accompanied by complaints of subjective ear noise, in soldiers with acoustic trauma caught in the combat zone, the frequency of noise was 8 (33.9%) 6 (17.2%) and 1 (17.7%)kHz. uk_UA
